A rapid rise in industrialization has led to the release of pharmaceutical pollutants into water bodies, rendering inappropriate for consumption by humans and animals, challenging our efforts achieve clean sustainable development goal. These include antibiotics, anticancer drugs, antidepressants, etc., which are highly stable persistent water, addition being harmful life. At times, secondary pollutant that is formed after degradation more potent than parent drug. Conventional purification methods cannot completely remove these pollutants. Hence, efficient robust required degrade waste. Photocatalytic drugs deemed an effective method environmental remediation, along with recovery photocatalysts, important recycling use. Herein, we present synthesis nanoparticles (NPs) their application photocatalytic waste as a preferred treatment method. Additionally, green nanomaterials offers benefit avoiding pollution. The NPs employed using plant extracts offer number metabolites reducing agents or capping agents, well use microbes nanofactories tackle issue cleanliness respect Despite regulations concerning drug disposal, some underdeveloped countries do not enforce practice guidelines letter spirit. current work presenting promising expected contribute assurance strict policy compliance enforcement, resulting resolution health concerns hazardous disposal bodies.
